AEA TRP2

The AEA TRP2 is a dual channel high-output, high-impedance and low-noise mic preamp specifically designed for Ribbon microphones providing 85dB of quiet JFET gain.
The AEA TRP2 updates on the original AEA The Ribbon Preamp and now includes phantom power to work with active ribbon and condenser microphones, polarity switching, switching power supply and optional rack ears. It also includes a switchable 100Hz, 12dB per octave low-frequency filters. The phantom power has a phantom power kill switch that deactivates 48V when passive ribbon are connected.
The AEA TRP2 provides a high-impedance of 63k Ohms delivering the transient response, thick low-end and highs of your that makes your microphone sing. Condenser microphones will also benefit from its high impedance.
its half-rack design makes it very portable. However the unit can be racked with optional TRP2 rack ears.
