Avid HD OMNI

The Avid HD Omni I/O is a 1U rack-mounted low-noise, low-latency audio interface for Pro Tools HD. Fully-featured, the Avid HD I/O Omni manages to fit clean transparent preamps, pristine AD/DA conversion and a comprehensive monitoring section into a single unit. Not only that but you are ready to integrate with your Pro Tools HDX or HD|Native system.
Two dedicated top quality microphone preamps are fitted on the Avid HD I/O Omni from XLR plugs on the back panel to give you a full-bodied, uncoloured input signal. The back panel allows extensive interconnection with Optical, S/PDIF and AES inputs The HD I/O Omni also includes a generous selection of line Ins and Outs as well and the AD/DA conversion is as precise, quiet and efficient as on all the Avid products.
Protection from unwanted peaks is also taken care of in the Avid Omni with a useful soft-knee limiter just before the AD/DA conversion stage. Monitoring on the Avid HD I/O Omni takes place inside with a 14-input monitoring section and you have a front panel headphone socket, too. The HD I/O Omni is capable of providing mixes in mono, stereo, and 7.1 as you require. The Avid HD I/O Omni offers a truly flexible and imaginative solution to your Pro Tools HD needs.
