Chandler Limited REDD.47 Mic Preamp

The Chandler Limited REDD.47 Mic Preamp is a faithful recreation of the legendary EMI REDD.47 used in Abbey Road Studios.
The Chandler Limited REDD .47 reproduces the punch, aggressiveness of the original EMI / Abbey Road mic pre which was a replacement of the Telefunken V72S valve amp. However, the REDD 47 is graced with new features required by modern production techniques such as an increased gain offering a wide range of tonal options from clean to rich and saturated. Indeed the Redd.47 can produce up to 2% harmonic distortion before clipping.
 
The REDD47 features a stepped Voltage Gain knob (coarse) followed with 1dB stepped Fine Gain Set to help you set your gain precisely. A Rumble Filter or also known as high pass filter offers a range of 8 frequency points from 30Hz all the way up to 180Hz. A 20dB Pad is also available when used with loud sources and is followed by an output control which in combination with the different gain controls offers a wide range of colours. 48V phantom power and Pole (Phase reversal) switch are included.
 
The REDD.47 valve mic preamp delivers the legendary sound Of Abbey Road’s iconic mic pre and can easily reproduce the sound heard on The Beatle’s Revolution.
