Dreadbox Drips

Dreadbox Drips is a monophonic analogue percussion drum synth voice in modular format.
Build around a classic subtractive core, the Drip drum voice is a capable percussion synthesis tool. It produces its tones using two VCO’s and multimode VCF and a three channel mix come noise generator.
The VCO’s feature two waveforms, square semi-circle, they also include detune controls that move into advanced FM. The VCO structure then feeds into a decay envelope with a bipolar attenuator for sculpting your percussion tone decay.
The decay envelope can also be used to control on onboard 18dB multi-mode filter, which can be switched to select between low pass, high pass and band pass modes. The filter is fully resonant and can self oscillate.
The mixer section is where the sound is finally built. Three channels allow for smooth mixing between both VCO1 & 2 and also the onboard noise source, which is exceptionally useful for building snares and metallic timbres.
The final stage is the audio decay envelope which sculpts the decay time for the overall audio output.
Drips can be triggered externally or by its own internal clock which is accessed using the on board tempo pot.
CV controllable parameters include VCO1 pitch, VCO2 pitch, VCF Cut off frequency, VCA and the internal envelope generator.
