Moog System 3P Modular Synthesizer

The Moog System IIIP a faithful recreation of the iconic portable IIIC modular synthesizer, built painstakingly by hand in Asheville NC using the original documentation, components and construction techniques used to craft the original 5U modular performance system.
This is the pinnacle of boutique synthesizers and has to be heard to be believed.
The original Moog Model IIIC is held in very high regard in the synthesizer community. It was one of the first complete modular synthesizers constructed by Bob Moog and was the key synthesizer systems that allowed composers of the time to form music ideas and complete songs.
In the late 1960’s Bob Moog was supplying musicians with individual modules for their systems as specific purposes, but due to incredible demand growing from the underground music scene forming at that time, Bob was being continually asked to build complete systems, thus the System 1, System 2 and System 3 were born. The System 3C was contained in a walnut cabinet, so gained the C part of its name.
Move on a few years and the concept of performing with a modular was starting become more and more mainstream and demand for a powerful, but portable modular system was growing, bring forth the System IIIP a portable version of the IIIC. Boasting the same sonic capabilities and module selection as the IIIC, albeit in a more portable form factor comprising of three tolex Model 15 style cases.
With real vintage old-school 901 oscillators and a list of modules that reads like a collectors dream. The Moog Synthesizer IIIP is only available from KMR Audio.
Every Synthesizer IIIP will be built using all-original documentation, art, and circuit board files. Each instrument features thirty-six hand-stuffed, hand-soldered modules, including ten 901-Series audio oscillators, the 984 Matrix Mixer, and the 905 Spring Reverb. All modules are securely mounted into three hand-finished, Tolex cabinets at the Moog factory in Asheville, NC.
