Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5024

The Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5024 is a 1U 4-channel mic preamp with two DI channels, M/S decoder, custom transformers and Class A circuitry, designed to improve front-end performance of any digital or analogue recording system.
The Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5012 uses the same preamp design of the highly popular 5012, providing up to 72dB of gain with phase, mute phantom power and high-pass filter with selectable frequencies. Rupert Neve’s highly popular Silk circuit design is also included adding rich warmth and presence of classic mic preamps. What’s more, Channel 1 and 2 accommodate high-Z inputs to connect your instrument level sources while channels 3 and 4 include an M/S decoder switch that allows for Mid-Side recording without the need of additional channels.
The 5024 is a low noise and low distortion with a Class A circuit with input and output transformers and entirely discrete component amplifiers designed to enhance sonic qualities of signal sources. As a result the Portico 5024 is unobtrusive and provide very high quality audio performance.
