Tegeler Audio Magnetismus 2

The Tegeler Audio Magnetismus 2 is a stereo transient shaper and VCA compressor designed to work with transient-rich signals such as drums or acoustic guitars.

The Tegeler Audio Magnetismus 2 starts with a VCA compressor, akin to the one on Creme, with ratios ranging between 1.5:1 for the gentle compression and LIM for a more aggressive sound. Instead of the traditional attack and release control however, the Magnetismus features a Timing control with 11 positions providing a mixture of carefully selected time constants for the compressor.

The Compressor stage is immediately followed by the transient shaper which offers three different modes of operation (Eisen, Kobalt, Nickel). The Intensity control then lets you decide on the desired amount of transient shaping.
