The 2032 is a single channel mic preamp / EQ unit with phantom powered mic, line and instrument inputs. An insert point on the back panel enables the 2032 to be used as two separate units; a mic preamp and a 4-band parametric equaliser. Additional features include a phase reverse switch and 40/100Hz hi-pass filter.
Balanced XLR mic input Balanced 1/4″ jack line/Hi-Z input Balanced 1/4″ jack line output. 1U rack-mountable

Brought to you from the man who invented the very concept of Parametric Equalization, the 8200 has been an industry standard for over twenty years, and can be found on virtually every major recording studio’s stereo buss. Each of the five broadly-overlapping bands offers 15dB of Boost or Cut and adjustable bandwidth (or Q) from 0.4 to 4.
The lowest and highest bands also can be switched to Shelf mode. Quite simply, the 8200 is the archetype Stereo Parametric Equalizer.
Its extraordinary resolution, benchmark transparency, generous headroom, and surgical precision have been the reference for many other equalizers, but exceeded by no other.
It fits into a 2U, 19″ space.
Requires 1 x 8355 PSU
The basic design of the GML 8300 mic preamp is derived from the input module of the GML master recording console.
Totally discrete, Class A bipolar design Uses special Massenburg-design active servos for DC stabilisation Clip indicator illuminates at +24dBV Gain: 15 to 70dB, in 5dB steps Available in 4-channel and 2-channel (field upgradeable to 4-channel) versions Individually switchable +48V phantom power, up to 40mA per channel
1U rack-mountable
Includes 8355 PSU
GML Microphone Preamplifiers are world renowned for their life-like realism, high resolving power, and reference-standard transparency.
Why? Their all-discrete, bipolar transistor circuit topologies are completely transformerless with no FET’s, IC’s, or electrolytic capacitors in the signal path.
Even the outputs are direct-coupled; time-proven active servos remove DC without adding any artificial colour. 15dB to 70dB of Gain is front panel selectable in accurate 5dB steps.
A +24dBv CLIP indicator warns of any impending overloads and switchable phantom powering is built in.
The 8304 two-channel mic pre (as well as the 8302 two-channel version) fits compactly in only 1U of rack space, and requires the external GML 8355 Power Supply.
