The Antelope Audio Edge Duo is a modelling large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a dual capsule for polar pattern control and stereo applications, powered by Antelope’s library of microphone emulations.
The Antelope Audio Edge Duo features a dual 6-micron edge-terminated gold-sputtered membrane feeding two separate XLR outputs using the included Y cable. The combination of both membranes lets you control with precision the polar pattern within the plug-in even after recording. It also provides exceptionally accurate modelling on- and off-axis modelling for true multi-dimensional mic modelling.
The diaphragm stays within a low-resonance body with a low-reflection head basket. The result is a crystal-clear and accurate sound upon which to add Antelope’s mic emulations.
Antelope Audio also includes custom electronics designed by award-winning in-house engineers to deliver extremely high dynamic range and optimum frequency response.
