Avantone CV28

The Avantone CV-28 is a small-bodied tube condenser microphone with interchangeable capsules. Manufactured to a high standard of build and sonic quality, the design and character of this mic comes at a price that is still incredibly affordable.

The CV-28 comprises a rugged precision-machined brass chassis and capsule assembly finished in Avantone’s striking Cabernet red. Tonally, this small capsule mic is a big hitter, providing a warm, pleasing character that brings out the best in many different sources.

The ability to change out the capsule provides options for three different polar patterns, further increasing the CV-28’s versatility in many varied applications. The addition of transformer-coupled tube circuitry provides incredible warmth and depth without sacrificing presence or definition. This fantastic value mic is equally at home on acoustic instruments, drums, pianos or strings, and will provide an amazing, professional sound for extremely good value.

The CV-28 comes with three interchangeable 19mm capsules (Cardioid, Omni, Hyper-Cardioid) making it extremely versatile in any situation.

Includes Flightcase

The CV-28 includes a wooden mic box and aluminium flightcase, which also holds the included power supply and cables

Custom Retro Shock Mount

The bundle also includes a custom-constructed shockmount which allows precise positioning of the microphone whilst greatly limiting unwanted vibration transfer.
