Golden Age Project Comp-54 features a one-channel vintage style compressor with discrete components such as resistors, capacitors and transistors. The line input and output are transformer balanced with an additional third transformer. The Comp-54 features a class-A circuit similar to one found in the classic 2254 compressor designed in the 1969, known for its warm, smooth, sweet musical characteristics.
