Compare

The Waldorf Rocket is a single oscillator synthesizer module with an analogue multi-mode filter.
Though Rocket has a single oscillator voice structure it has some neat tricks on board that provide synthesis way beyond the capabilities of a standard monosynth.
Rocket uses a variable waveshape oscillator circuit that produces just square and triangle waveforms, this might sound limiting to some but depending on the waveform selected, Rockets voice structure changes completely.
When running in Square wave mode the wave control knob acts as a form of sync, creating up to 8 virtual oscillators for massive unison detune or 8 voice polyphonic chords.
The onboard filter is voltage controlled and is completely analogue, it’s multi-mode, features variable key tracking and a dedicated envelope mod control.
Modulation on the Rocket is simple, but effective. A single multi-wave LFO modulates either pitch of VCF cutoff.
Though a small synthesizer with a simple UI, Rocket is very capable and fun to use, perfect for both live and studio use.
The main features of the Waldorf Rocket Synthesizer Module include
Digital Oscillator with up to 8 voices of polyphony or unison
Multi-mode analogue VCF
Single multi-wave LFO with two destinations
Onboard arpeggiator
USB powered
