The Dreadbox White Line Divider is a handy 2HP utility module that can be used as a clock divider and sub harmonic generator.
Divider features a single input and two outputs, output one cuts the input frequency or clock into a quarter of it’s original level, output two cuts the input frequency in half.
So if you put a 16th note trigger signal into the input, the /4 output would give you quarter notes. And if you put a sine wave oscillator into the input, the /2 output would give you an octave below the frequency input.
Regardless of the audio or clock signal you put in, the output result is always a square wave. Making this module very useful for triggering purposes and creating sub octaves for fattening up your signal.
A group of Dividers can be put together to make even longer trigger passages, for example, split an LFO into an /4 and then again into a /4 to get super long trigger results.
A very handy toolie for any modular system, particularly handy for creating self evolving patterns and patches.
The main features of the Dreadbox White Line Divider Module include
2HP frequency divider module
Use to divide triggers and frequency signals
Perfect for adding sub harmonics to signals
Group a few together to create long trigger delays
Requires 2mA
