16-channel analogue-summing mixer with 4-channel mic preamp designed as the centrepiece for your tracking, and mixing applications.
The Great River MixMaster 20 is a 16-channel analogue-summing mixer with 4-channel mic preamp designed as the centrepiece for your tracking, and mixing applications.
The Great River MixMaster 20 includes 4 high-gain and low noise mic preamps providing enough gain to power all microphone types and includes polarity reversal and phantom power on all channels. Line and instrument inputs use transformer coupled bridging amplifiers providing high gain ranges to work with keyboards, tape machines and interface outputs. Each input also includes a balanced insert point and auxiliary output mix sends and can be fed to the main stereo mix bus.
In addition of the four preamps, the MixMaster 20 includes 16 transformerless line input channels for summing duties with fully controllable level and pans. A USB port is also provided for storage and recall of mix settings. A transformer coupled mixing amplifier with balanced outputs also available as patch point allowing compressors, or EQ follows the passive summing mixer. The transformer balanced return path feeds the Penny & Giles stereo fader and transformer coupled output amplifier.
Control room functionalities are also included with flexible solo, speaker selector, level control, mix replay monitoring as well as a talkback function which feeds the cue outputs as well as dimming the main monitoring system to avoid feedback issues.
