IGS Audio One LA 500 Compressor for 500-series

The IGS Audio ONE LA 500 is a 500-series vacuum tube opto compressor inspired by the legendary Teletronix LA-2A.
 
The IGS Audio ONE LA 500 uses high-quality components throughout such as individually calibrated RFT NOS tubes and is hand made to deliver the best opto compressor sound possible. In addition, three audio transformers are employed with Sowter and Edcor transformers used in the audio path while the side-chain circuit uses an OEP transformer.
 
Just like its inspiration the IGS Audio One LA 500 is extremely easy to use with only Gain and Threshold controls to worry about. Turn the threshold until you hear the desired amount of compression and turn the gain to increase the overall level. The One LA 500 uses a proprietary T4BX photocell which has been designed to offer the exact same compression characteristics of the original T4B electroluminescent photocell with some modern features offering higher levels of compression.
 
The IGS Audio One LA 500 excels on any sources where the Teletronix LA-2A would be the preferred choice, from vocals, bass and guitars, keyboards and more, the IGS One LA 500 will deliver the smooth compression associated with optical compression and the warmth associated with valves and now it’s available to the 500-series format.
