The Vermona DRM1 MKII Standard Trigger is an eight voice analogue drum machine, with a comprehensive array of tone shaping controls and trigger inputs.
DRM1 MKII includes all the essential ingredients you’d expect in an analogue drum synth;
Eight voices of percussion derived from vintage TR and LM drum machines.
One knob per function sound editing.Â
Stereo panning for each voice.Â
And individual audio outputs for each track, meaning you can process and change each voice separately from the rest of the kit.
The sound of the DRM1 is unmistakably analogue, the kicks are punchy and full of character;Â
The snare is raspy with noise artifacts, the hi hats are crunchy and most importantly, the clap; which sounds crisp and has plenty of attack.
The DRM1 MKII is available in several different configurations; this configuration is the standard trigger version which uses both MIDI and gate trigger inputs for its triggering, other versions include trigger inputs and upgraded control knobs are also available.
The DRM1 can either be rack mounted or you can add wooden side panels if you want a more retro feel.
